Dicom server 1.4.16(k) released !

    Hi,


    What is the best way to send images to more than one location if I want to give a priority to a certain location? For example I want to sent images to server1 first, and only after nothing is in the queue, start/continue to send images to server2. "Defer" does not allow me to use that idle time when server has nothing to transfer.

    1) OpenJPG is another JPEG2000 library. It is by default not included in the build and cannot be enabled.


    2) Hm, I do not know. All exportconverters share the same timing parameters and cannot be prioritized. You might script your own forwarding queue in lua to give such level of fine control, or I would have to add extra parameters or an if statement to let you defer a queue until another one is empty.

    When compiling 1416j on my linux system I had an error of too few arguments for mkdir at line 2259 in MyBridgeStorage. I tried copying the define statement at line 2686 above the class and this fixed the error.

    I saw a 1.4.16j crash today on what seems to be garbage input data. This is probably related to virtualserver operation.

    When upgrading to 1.4.16 The Loss Less Quality parameter j1 does not work..!! when sending from conquest server to another conquest server, the images in the sending server was saved whith j1 compression but when sending the images to the other server it recompress it with j2 ?

    Hi Marcel,


    The compression used for writing the images on both server is j1, so before upgrading the sending is done without recompression, but now after upgrading when the server1 sends the images to the server2 it recompress the images with j2 which will consume time in compression and cause a delay.

    I had the same problem but solved it by editing dgatesop.lst: just put comment sign # on the line below so it looks like this:
    #JPEGExtended2and4 1.2.840.10008.1.2.4.51 transfer LittleEndianExplicit
    This will tell conquest not to accept j2 compressed files so j1 will be used for transfer without re-compression.

    Hi Marcel,
    When starting Windows GUI and answering NO to the question regarding "continue export or no" the file is not deleted and the NO answer is ignored. Must stop the dgate server and delete the file manually.

    I just released update 1.4.16k, to be downloaded above. I hope to use this update as base for a new major release (1.4.17). For fixed bugs see above (all reported bugs in the server core are fixed :D ).

    Hi Marcel!


    I just loaded Conquest server 1.4.16 for Win. After that, I loaded update 1.4.16(k2).
    When I tried to print first time to local printer it prints ok, but when I start print a second time,
    I got an error.
    And I can print again only after restart of server.


    What can I do?
