Problem conQuest K-PACS viewer

  • Hi.

I have installed conQuest 1.4.12c with MySQL 5.0.34 and Apache 2.2.4 under Windows XP Professional (SP2).

After I installed Apache, ALMOST always, when I try to open an image in K-Pacs Viewer (right clicking on an image in "brose database" tab) the message "Server not running (in this directory)" appears, the K-Pacs viewer opens and no image is displayed. Some FEW times it works.
Is this a bug or did I something wrong?

    Thanks for your attention, Marcel.

  • Even with 1.4.13alpha the error appears.
It's weird that this error doesn't occur every time I use that option.

I'll be still trying and I'll post the news here.

    Thank you for your help.

  • I had several similar encounters. The solution that work for me was doing a clean setup in a new folder. Use the same database selection as the original when you do the setup. When you have finished, close the server and GUI. Then replace the files acrnema.map and dicom.ini in the new setup with the files from the original setup. I always use the libmySQL.dll from the installed mysql program in the server.

Don't know why this problem appeared. I have not investigated what the differences of the two installation are. Maybe you can by comparing the files of in the two installation
