Cache locate in Documents and Settings"Current User name"\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\DCMViewerCache.

You can clear DICOM Cache from ActiveX - button "Clear Cache"
Also standart IE methods (clear cache) or manual by file manager.

In fact, I do not swee th directoy DCMViewerCache, even with IE/ezDICOM loaded. And the images it self are located in

Documents and Settings\"Current User name"\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

I say that because I am testing the OCX that you provide. I convert to PHP/Oracle and is in testing phase. My ideia is to publish the php/oracle/apache solution. But I am experiance some 'strange' error, perhaps you could help:

Read beyong end of file
Catastrofic Fail (the sentece appears to my in Protugues - my lang)

This is a CT study. Below is the provide PARAM to OCX. Is it correct ? What is the syntax ?

I correct the syntax, removing the trailing ',' in all series, but error persist.
Perhaps the size of the string ? Too long ?

May the DCMStudydata property be to shoort for this study ?

Hi,

here is a first conquest web interface that includes a k-pacs viewer (preliminary, windows only).

To install, unzip the contents of the file into your cgi-bin directory (e.g., C:\wamp\Apache2\cgi-bin).
Then (only) edit the dicom.ini stored there according to your local installation.
To finish copy the new dgate.exe also into your previously installed conquestdicomserver directory (no further changes needed).

It was tested with wamp1.6.6, conquest dicom server 1.4.12c, and IE6sp1.

The server runs from http://127.0.0.1/cgi-bin/dgate.exe?mode=top.
Query for patients and studies and then click view from the series browser to activate the new viewer, an activeX control.

A known isssue is that many browsers download the html code produced by dgate.exe instead of displaying it.
Also you may need to lower the security setting of your browser to get the activex control installed.

Looking good, is it possible to enlarge the ActiveX component?

Hi Patje,

1) Oops: if the activex does not install, save the source of the activex page, edit the codebase path to point to the ocx file locally, and load it again.
Once installed, the viewer will remain working.

2) Parameters for the seriesviewer mode are:

...dgate.exe?mode=seriesviewer&series=....&size=800&dsize=256&compress=n4

where:

series = patientid:seriesuid
size = size of viewer on browser (default 512)
dsize = downsize dicom data to ... pixels (default 0=original)
compress = compression moden (default n4 = nki compression)

unfortunately I wasn t that lucky to get the web-interface running, I am not able to open the picture.
So may be I misconfigured something

Did you update dgate.exe in your (test) server? If there is a black picture -> activeX runs. No image: cannot download the images from the server. Could be: 1) server not updated; 2) url "http://192.192.192.214/cgi-bin/dgate.exe?mode=top" does not work: it downloads the images from there.

I updated both the server to version 1.4.12c and the dgate.exe from the download. But I can t open the image and I ve no idea why, must be something with the actice x control?

Some points:

The dgate.exe to be used on both sides comes from the zip file. It is 1.4.12d.
Does http://192.192.192.214/cgi-bin/dgate.exe?mode=top work?
Which browser do you use?
Can you show the html source of the activex page?
Is the activeX control displayed (with black window?)

I can get to the web interface to the database and see patient/study/series.

When I try to view a series I get a white box with a red 'x' in top left corner.

Intranet setting are all enable for activex. No firewall on.

Show source finds dsize=0 and compression is n4.

Dsize is the problem? Any help appreciated. (PS, I do not know how to edit an .ocx)

Hi,

the activex conrtrol cannot be downloaded (it would be black or working). To activate: view web page source from your browser, save it as html file. Edit the codebase line to (e.g.) c:\conquest\activeform1.ocx, or wherever the ocx is present. Then click the saved html file to activate the ocx. It should keep working afterwards.

The problems with the ActiveX component can be solved by manual registrated the ActiveX.
First Uninstall the component - regsvr32 -u ActiveFormProj1.ocx
then Register the new component - regsvr32 -u [Path of component]\ActiveFormProj1.ocx

I ve exactly the same prob as radtravellor and I really don t know how to edit the activeform1.ocx file, cause I can t open it with the web viewer, or may I misunderstand anything here. I converted the file with the editor into html, but the prob remains the same.
And there are only signs that doesnt make any sense to me. So could you give us some more help with the activation?

Tried as written, kept uninstalling .ocx.

Took a guess and removed '-u' from second regsrv32 statement.
should be:

regsvr32 -u ActiveFormProj1.ocx (to remove)
regsvr32 [Path of component]\ActiveFormProj1.ocx (to register)

ie: drive:\wamp\cgi-bin\ActiveFormProj1.ocx

All works fine now. (autocontrast? I can't find that but manually changing win/level works. (if you have a black window, try changing win/level)

Dsize is still showing as '0' on show source..
