Burning cd problems

    Often we have problems trying to read burned cd. When we try to execute K_PACS_LITE.EXE we receive the message "The Server INI-file is missing, please reinstall the application.".


    Can someone help me ?

    why is the files called "K_PACS_LITE.exe"?
    It is supposed to be "K-PACS-Lite.exe" (this is the way it is burned to CD's when using K-PACS burn dialog).
    The application checks it's name at startup and desides in which mode it will run. If the name is different to "K-PACS-Lite.exe" it will try to run in full mode and that's why it asks for an INI file.

    Ps.: But I could include "K_PACS_LITE.exe" as valid Lite viewer name as well.

    Yes, you are right !!!
    The problem is that I'm burning cd roms by nero using file system "ISO 9660" and not "ISO9660 + Joliet". So, all files are written in uppercase.

    Ps: I suggest you to do a check not case sensitive.
