Push all studies to a new server - best practice

Hi everybody

I need to push all studies to a new server sometime soon.

First I thought just drag-n-drop to the GUI would be fine but in tests I had some crashes with large amounts of data and the I have no idea where it left off. So I always had to re-do the whole folder.

Is there some command line to push all studies to AET XYZ?
Or is the easiest way to push year by year via the GUI, and if so by Study or Study-Root?

Hi,

I would use dgate(64) --movestudies:SRC,DEST,20180101-20180131

Put it in a batch file with smaller date ranges per command.

Or of course if you can copy the data using external method you can run a regenerate.

Hello,

in such cases I like the function of the "incoming"-folder (automatic import) combined with an external copy method, the server seems to stay completely active as far as I konw during the import process.
