Database Corruption

    Hi


    By mysql database got corrupted and i failed to start the mysql service. This happened consecutively twice in a month. I had gone through the logs but there was nothing except the connection lost message.


    I had resinstalled the mysql database and its up and running. I wanted to know can i change the database type like MYISAM etc as per requirement??

    Sorry to hear that. Conquest can be used with pretty any database setting, so yes you can change the database type (I used both types before). I suspect that this could be due to a hardware problem.
