Conquest in cluster configuration

    Hi,


    Does it possible to set up cluster configuration for Conquest ? Any suggestion ?


    From you earlier post:



    I would like to understand how I could set up the cluster solution with Conquest. Does it fine to deploy two instances of Conquest on the same host ? There could be used one DB instance for both Conquest instances ? I consider the linux platform. Any suggestion are welcome.

    Hi,


    Multiple conquest instances can run against the same database. A setup I used once is to run 2 conquest servers on separate machines with their magdevices being each other's mirrordevices. This was with Microsoft SQL server. I expect little trouble with other db drivers, except dBaseIII and SQLite. Let me know how you get on.
