Parallel transfers.

    It seems Conquest does transfers of studies and images serially.


    On a connection with high latency and high bandwidth, the bandwidth is highly wasted.


    Is it possible to configure conquest to transfer (send) multiple studies at a time and/or multiple images simultaneously that may belong to the same series?

    Conquest does not have such a setup. However, your client may be able to initiate several transfers at once - this would become a parallel connection.


    On a normal latency connection, however, conquest can easily fill the bandwidth of a 100 mbps connection - reading from disk and writing to network are parallel.

    I have done further tests and determined that even for serial sending, Conquest is fast enough, at least for my situation.


    We are moving from a cloud with average latency of 200ms to 10ms. So we should be OK. I think there was an issue with network when I did my initial tests on the 200ms link.
