Multiframe DICOM Overlay

    Hi All


    i have a question regarding the multiframe Dicom overlay
    in case of multi frame embedded overlays will the overlaydata differes from frame to frame?
    or else the overlay data will be same on all the frames


    to be clear le's say have multiframe image with 24 frames. if i have embedded overlay for this image as part of pixel data
    will this overlay data can bi different for frames?


    have seen several examples we are always getting the same overlay data on all frames

    Hi,


    this is not really a conquest question. I do believe overlays can be bit encoded on the image data - which would make them different for each frame, or as a separate tag in the object, which could make them the same for all frames. I would search the DICOM standard for this.
