Why dgate change char in patientid ?

    Hello Marcel, (and all),


    some characters are changed to create path in dicom/ directory.
    eg : '.' is replaced by '_'


    Is it possible to have the list of all characters that are concerned ?
    Why does dgate do that ?

    this is done because these characters cannot be in filenames on all file systems.


    This is the list of character that are replaced by _.


    case '/':
    case '\\':
    case ';':
    case '>':
    case '<':
    case '|':
    case ',':
    case '.':
    case ' ':
    case ':':
    case '?':
    case '*':
    case '"':
