Report error when forwarding fails

    Hi,


    tried to search the manual and the forum, but have no luck so far..


    I would like to store and forward incoming images to a number of nodes. But when the forward to at least one of the nodes fails, I would like to report an error to the sending (calling) node. Is this possible?

    Hi Dave,


    it is not possible with export converters because they run detached from the incoming data stream, so the connection is closed before it might notice that forwarding fails.


    It might be possible with import converters (but not implemented) but these will slow down the incoming data stream significantly.
