mixed patient data when Patientid equals

    Hi everyone


    first time this happened : importing external patient data from CD, conquest mixed the data with an existing database entry having the exact same Patientid.
    Different patients could still be identified by their names when viewing them in a dicom viewer.
    I thought, conquest would change the patiend id by itself to prevent mixing when there is no complete match with patient id, name or date of birth. Is there a way to prevent Conquest to mix patients data ?

    Hi Uli,


    conquest uses a patientroot system. I.e., patients with the same ID are considered identical and only one is kept in the patient table. The study table will keep the right info though (name, id, sex and birthdate is kept there), so any study root query will return the correct information.


    Not sure if and how I should fix this.
