windows 2008 standard, 64 bit, no server functions running

    what is the most stable version of Conquest to run on Windows 2008 Standard, 64 bit. If the server is running all its functions (DHCP, DNS, etc), will that affect it?


    anything special about the install? i have several different Conquest running, but none on a 64 bit system or on Server 2008 Standard. They are all running on either XP Pro or Windows 2003 Standard, 32 bit.

    I would go for 1.4.15. The 1.4.16alpha3 still needs some updates on the jpeg side (on my list). Server load should not be an issue, usually the system is disk and/or network limited.
