The image files that Conquest stores do not have the usual 128-bit DICOM header preamble. Is there a way to make Conquest write this to the files?
DICOM Header Preamble

Looks like it is not stored with the Preamble to save space and then upon DICOM push or pull the preamble is added back in.

Hi,
switch to DCM file extension - the header is then complete.

Hello Marcel,
How does Conquest handle the DICOM 128-byte preamble vulnerability?
https://www.dicomstandard.org/…te-preamble-posted1-1.pdf
Is there an option that would "clear" the first 128 bytes when receiving data?
Thank you in advance for your insight!

Hi,
conquest parses each incoming file (e.g. that you drag and drop) and ignores the preamble. When the data is saved a new preamble is generated. I.e. the first 128 bytes is always cleared in data that is stored or forwarded. Happy to recieve help for anybody to test that.
