'DICOM move error' of huge DICOM data between Conquest svrs

  • Hello everyone,

I'm in trouble with transferring huge DICOM data between two Conquest servers (WinXP, 1.4.13).

When I 'Copy to destination' large files (more than 7000 studies with 1.3TB), Conquest dicomserver produced the error message "DICOM move error: Association lost".

I don't use 'xcopy' files and 'rebuild database', because I want convert nki compressed .v2 into normal .dcm files.

How can I solve this problem?

  • Hi Marcel,

Error message is produced before it starts.

When I tried transfer all patients' studies using wild card '*' (which include about 7000 studies), dicomserver produced that message after several minutes' freezing, and no transfer was done.

But, if I selected a few studies with more specific condition (e.g. patient id like '301231*', that contains 5 studies of 4000 images), transfer was done successfully.

  • Hi,

I guess the query results do not fit in memory....

You can try putting a comma separated (no spaces) list of all patientID's in the patient ID edit box. These will be processed one by one.
