Optimal Settings for Forwarding

  • We use Conquest 1.4.16 for straight forwarding images from several eFilms to several eFilms.

    Here are typical messages from eFilm log when eFilm stops sending images to Conquest and reports error. At the same time Conquest doesn't have any problems listed in logs.

    (5216) 07-10 10:51:33.37 MC3 W: Invalid responding message ID received: 39
    (5216) 07-10 11:10:56.18 [class CDICOMAssociation * CSTORE_ImageFile()] Timed out waiting for C-STORE-RSP message
    (5216) 07-10 11:09:10.23 [class CDICOMAssociation * CSTORE_ImageFile()] Unable to send C-STORE-RQ message: Association was aborted

    Could you please take a look at the settings file and tell what can be optimized to avoid these errors? We're trying to replace DessAcc DICOMGateway with Conquest, because DessAcc Gateway seems to be much slower than Conquest, but such eFilm errors never occur with DessAcc DICOMGateway.

  • Hi,

    try to use:

    "forward series to"

    This waits until a series is complete before forwarding it, decoupling reception from forwarding.

    The parameter ForwardCollectDelay determines how long it waits. You can shorten a bit, but if it is too short series get forwarded twice.
