Hi,
I am Using Conquest Version 1.4.19 Alpha.
I get this error quite frequently, usually following a power outage.
Is there a way to avoid this error?

Hi,
I would suggest to use another database such a postgres or mysql. But I am not sure which database is best to deal to with power outage.
I use the following code in my sqlite interface:
PRAGMA synchronous = OFF
This is hardcoded and makes sqlite much faster but less resiliant to power failure. If you are linux you can change the code.

Thanks Marcel
I run Conquest on Windows using sqlite.
I guess I will have to live with the issue as I enjoy many other great features of conquest.
Regards.
Hi,
it should not be hard to move over to e.g. postgres on windows. In the next release I will make the SQLite startup code configurable.
Marcel
Hi Marcel,
In your previous post, you indicated you might make some changes so we can configure SQLite so as to address the "Database image malformed" error.
Did you make any changes on this?
In dicom.ini you can configure:
SQLiteStartup = PRAGMA synchronous = ON
which makes sqlite safer but slower.
Marcel
Great!
Appreciate it.
Let me try.
My version is 1.4.19 alpha.
Must I upgrade?
Yes,
introduced in 1.4.19d
Browse versions here:
http://natura-ingenium.nl/dicomserver/
just replace dgate(64).exe
Marcel
Great!
Thank you again.
