Change directory where files are saved?

Hi,

A collegue and I are trying to change the directory where the incoming dicom files are saved but are not 100% successful. Right now all incoming dicom files are saved in subfolders with the PatientID as the folder name. But we need all files to be saved in the same folder C:\cache.

We tried changing the FileNameSyntax to 10, which was 90% of what we wanted but the files are then saved in C:\cache\images\ and not in C:\cache\ which we need.

We have searched everywhere for how to change folder, but are not successful.

Do anyone out there have any idea on how to achieve this? We have not worked so much with the Conquest dicom server, so please keep your answers on a simple level

Many thanks for you help. Unfortunately this doesn't work 100% for us. When we changed FileNameSyntax to "c:\cache\%sopuid.dcm" Conquest tried to write the files to "c:\cache\c:\cache\%sopuid.dcm" which produced a error message.

We then tried "FileNameSyntax = %sopuid.dcm" and this resulted in one file written to c:\cache but it also still creates a folder with the PatientID with two files in it. We need all of the files written to c:\cache

Could there be something else we need to change? Something related which we found in the dicom.ini file is "MAGDevice0 = C:\cache\" - does this have something to do with the whole thing?
