Large studies number - low speed

    I am administrator of a small medical facility, where Conquest is used. Doctor claim there is a long time when patients list is being queried. I read about virtualserver, but I have no idea how to set them properly, to make them work. Please find my dicom.ini file compressed.Of Course TESTAE is added as known Dicom provider and of course all "#" are removed from last lines. I would be grateful for any suggestion.


    Windows 7 64bit
    ST500DM002 500GB SATA III 16MB
    4GB RAM

    I have never seen an issue with query speed when using MySQL on a proper machine.
    Even MySQL standard parameters performed ok on a DB size of 25GB.


    As for receiving sped I have seen rates between 10and over 100 images/s - that just depends on network speed and receiving PC and software - some DICOM softwares are faster receiving noncompressed DICOM files

    However I remember having performance issues when I tried postgres but I cannot remember if it was during query or actually receiving studies
