Hi,
Can we detect whether a particular file is dicom file or not, using dgate.exe?
Kindly suggest.
Thanks.

Hi,
You can experiment with
dgate "--dolua:readdicom('filename'); print('is dicom')"

Hi,
For a functionality, where a development code (in windows - C#) is trying to import a set of dicom images to conquest using dgate.
E.g. there are 10 dcm files, and the code is looping each file to import it in Conquest. Now Error occurs in one of the file and the code skips the file and continues to import the next file.
Can we log the error in txt file so that the error is known when importing takes place in background?
Hope this scenario is understood.
Thanks.
Hi,
maybe easiest is to read the PacsTrouble.log file. Currently most dgate -- commands do not return an error status. THis is on the wishlist.
Marcel
Hi,
Kindly intimate me about the conquest release in which this would be done.
Thanks.
Hi,
Sorry, I forgot - it is not yet in 1.4.17d preview.
Can you give a list of commands that you would like to have status response for?
Marcel
Hi Marcel,
Currently following commands are used in the C#.NET code. On error for dcm files, no exceptions are received, due to which our application is not stable.
--addimagefile
--deletestudy:patid:studyuid
--deleteimagefile:file
Other than PACStrouble.log, could you provide us with a status or an exception so that the missed dcm could be tracked?
Kindly, suggest.
Thanks.
Will do.
Marcel
Hi Marcel,
Would this be available in coming Conquest release? Kindly intimate us about it.
Thanks.
Yep,
lets say in one month.
Marcel
