Hi,
Recently used %date_%name/%studyuid/%seriesuid/%sopuid.dcm in my finenamesyntax and observed that patients names with ñ (e.g nuñes) results in folders names truncated to
"nu". Is this a known problem?

Hi,
are ascii codes >= 128 all allowed as letters in a filename or directory. Or should I replace them by _.
Marcel
HI,
In our country the only letters >= 128 included in names is the spanish letter aschii 164 and 165 which is the most we require. I'm not aware in other regions. I konw that in NTFS system the following symbols are not allowed / ? < > \ : * | " DOS adds ^ to the list.

Tested the truncation problem of 1.4.15 versions when patient names with spanish accents are used as study directory filenames. Version 1.4.16h seems to have been corrected this
