Importing GE US Files

    I'm a new (and enthusiastic) user of the ConQuest Dicom Server.


    I want to import GE ultrasound files (copied from DVD media to disk) to ConQuest. I can't seem to script this using dgate, but I can import the images via Dicom Cleaner and then send them successfully to ConQuest.


    I get "FAILED: Error on Load" messages on the server status console.


    Any clues about where to look will be much appreciated!

    US... Are those Jpegs or Dicom ?


    I use Dicom Reader to import foreign CDs.


    I do not have alot of experience with US images, but have you tried doing the drag n drop from source (either the DVD or the folder you copy them to on your HD) onto the Conquest interface?

    They're DICOM cardiac ultrasounds.


    Thanks for the tip; I have tried the drag and drop and it does work. If possible I would like to be able to set up a script to peroidically check our archive for scans and add new ones to the DICOM server.

    Hi,


    Drag and drop uses command dgate --addimagefile:. The file is loaded by the server though - and you have to adjust the paths you give to this command to be valid for the server, not the dgate you start from the batch file.
