Importconverter to correct Name

    We are migrating some exams off of an old PACS, and all of the patient names are in the last name column with a blank first name column. The format of the name in the last name column is lastname, firstname. Is it possible to use importconverter to take everything before the comma and keep it in the last name field, and everything after the comma into the firstname column?

    sorry, there is no string search in the converter; just a fixed length substrring. You may be able to run an external program to do the splitting and write out a small file with the requested conversion for each object. Or use may use a alias file option %QX if you can build a file with al required renames.
