iQ-VIEW 2.6 print page header out of bounds

  • this issue is about the "print page header" option in the print manager window.

actually the header displays patient's name, date of birth, modality, type of exam and date of exam.

unfortunately if such string becomes very long it will often be printed out of bounds on the film (see my screenshot where the date exam is not seen because there's no more room left on the page)

you should have the chance to customize wich part of the text to be printed or to resize the font size of the text in order to fit the string inside the film boundaries.

I experienced this issue with iQ-VIEW 2.6, Windows XP 32bit and a SONY Filmstation UP-DF550 DICOM Printer

  • Hi,

    thanks for reporting this issue.

We are aware of it and already have different entries in our MANTIS bug and feature tracking system (e.g. issue #0001192 or #0000383).
We are working on a fix for this issue. You can keep track of the MANTIS issues to know, when and in which version this issue will be fixed.

    Best regards,

  • Usually you should be able to log in to our MANTIS system with your forum Username and Password. I just tested it and it works without problems for me. However, if you can't login there, I'll contact our administrator so he can check what the problem is.

    Best regards,

    Robert

  • I just checked the problem with your MANTIS account with our administrator and for some reason it wasn't enabled there. This could be due to unlucky timing, because we updated our complete MANTIS in the end of last year / beginning of this year and it seems like you have created your account when the MANTIS system was offline.
However, you should now be able to login with your forum user account without any problems.

    Best regards,

    Robert
