Conquestdicomserver odd error during night

  • Running Conquest 1.4.15. Every morning when I log onto the computer there is an error message on the screen. The error message is: " is not a valid integer value. The error message is in a box with a big red X with title of conquestdicomserver - ERROR. There are about 20 overlapping copies of this error box on the screen (looks like a deck of cards). The Conquest server frame is still open on the screen, and I can see the server receiving images, but I can't click on the frame, no response anywhere on the conquest screen. The rest of the windows desktop is fine. Conquest seems to be hung, but it is still receiving images. The only way to stop and restart Conquest is ctrl-alt-del and stop process. This only happens sometime during the night when there is no activity to the server. I checked all logs and can not find an error. I even checked Windows error logs and can find no sign of the error. I can not pinpoint the time this happens to see if there is a hidden timed event that might trigger the error. This only started happening for the last 4-5 months ago. I was thinking this was a Windows error, but the box clearly states Conquestdicomserver. This is driving me crazy. Any suggestions appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Jackson

  • Marcel,

The last post may solve the problem. I checked the line below in my file and it had NO number at all entered.

    NightlyCleanThreshhold =

I entered 0 (zero), and tomorrow morning I'll see if that was the fix. I hope so!

    Thanks!
    Jackson

  • Marcel,

I'm sorry neither suggestion was the cause of my error.

Here is my Dicom.ini file for you to look over.

    Thanks,
    Jackson
