Two c-move to retrieve a imagem from server

  • Hi, Mr Marcel.

I use c-find to search for images on conquest server.
Alter this, I execute c-move to retrieve the images.
After the first c-move , the image is not always received in my client viewer, and that happens frequently during the day.
When the image is not received I use another c-move, and only then the image is retrieved to my client viewer.
Below is the server's log for when this happens.

I am using Conquest 1417 beta, but I also did some tests with Conuqest 1416 with the same results.

Can you help me with this problem, please?

  • Hi, Mr Marcel,

I am using a dicomvcl query demo version for test. The image size is about 10 MB. My receive timeout settings is 100 seconds. I have seen that for small dicom images the problem doesn´t happens.

    Luiz

  • Luiz,

is the server changing the compression? decompressing a 10 mb file may become hundreds of MB that may timeout. I would first change the timeout on your side and see what happens.

and as benchmark I would test against another conquest server to see where the bottleneck sits.

    Marcel

  • Hi,
    I am not using compression.

Maybe a bug in the viewer component. I don´t know.

I did a workaround to send a c-move and expect 20 seconds. If no reponse at 20 seconds, I perform another c-move. Until now, it is working well and I always receive the images from conquest server.

    Regards,
    Luiz
