Hi all,
I'm interested in exporting MPEG file from a DICOM file. Is there any converter available or any internal export method in Conquest?.
Thanks in advance for your help,

Hi,
Sorry, no mpeg export for now. I am looking for a good mpeg code that would not require dozens of source files.
I am adding jpeg export in 1.4.14a, and maybe animated gif.

Hi Marcel,
about this topic, video (or cine) from an ultrasound equipment, in what format is encoded primarily?. They use avi or mpeg format, or is a DICOM own format or what?. I'm brand new in this kind of captures and I'm absolutely lost!.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Ricard
Hi,
usually it is multiframe jpeg encoded. So that is standard dicom.
Marcel
Hi Marcel,
ok, at this point, can I export this multiframe image to a usual format like avi or any other available?.
Sorry for my very simple questions.
Ricard Bernat
Hi,
no, sorry that is not supported. In the upcoming version you can export individual frames as jpg/tiff or bmp. Maybe animated gif (not sure yet). The problem is finding simple code for the AVI, that is portable between linux and windows. Most public domain codes span dozens of source files and are hard to integrate.
Marcel
... iQ-VIEW can export as AVI.
... as well as K-PACS.
Hi all,
thanks for replies but, any tools from command-line?.
Thanks in advance,
Ricard Bernat
