Hi,
yes, you test things double, I meant to say that you can use either of the two lines. The %V0010,0010 is the dicom element (0010,0010) - patientname. You can read any dicom element this way.

Hi,
have a look at test.cxx in dicomlib1415.zip: it contains a forwarder (test -fe I believe), it would be fairly simple to add a statement to save the objects there as well.
Marcel
Try,
ExportConverters = 2
ExportConverter0 = ifequal "%V0010,0010","foo"; forward to CDBURN
ExportConverter1 = ifequal "%V0010,0010","bar"; forward to RECEIVER_SEC
PATIENTNAM is for SQL statements, not for scripting.
The first version requires correct SQL syntax, try:
ExportFilter0 = DICOMPATIENTS.PATIENTNAM like 'FOO'

There is only one OCX file in the server folder (webserver/ActiveFormProj1.ocx). Copy it to somewhere on the viewer computer. Then this is how you register an OCX manually:

Hi,
The proposed fix for EnableComputedFields (as well as the ImageQuerySortOrder fix) is in patch release 1.4.15b:
ftp://ftp-rt.nki.nl/outbox/mar…erver/dgatepatch1415b.zip
Marcel
Hi,
I think I found it (a stupid mistake). I will release a patch (1.4.15b) later this evening.
Marcel
Hi,
the EnableComputedFlags code was optional, because it was not fully tested. Please tell me for what version the crash address was, then I can try to figure out what goes wrong and fix the server. And also give me the crash address for 1.4.15.
Marcel
Hi,
you can probably not do this with conquest. You can read multiple sequence items (see manual), but you cannot compute with them, nor detect how many there are.
Marcel
Hi,
This means the OCX is not installed. Try to lower the security and see if IE tries to install the OCX. If not, you can copy the OCX to the computer and register it manualy. Installing a local (further unused) copy of conquest will do this for you.
Marcel
Hi,
well spotted. I guessed from the 1 it was reading the wrong column, and indeed then found the error in the code.
Marcel
Hi,
The ImageQuerySortOrder has never worked..... I fixed it in a patch release (1.4.15a):
ftp://ftp-rt.nki.nl/outbox/mar…erver/dgatepatch1415a.zip
Marcel
Hi,
try to set in dicom.ini:
EnableComputedFields = 1
And then restart the server
Marcel
Hi,
I will try to reproduce this tonight at home. Note thay MySQL is case sensitive under linux!
Marcel
Ah,
MySQL is case sensitive: try:
DICOMImages.ImageNumbe
Marcel
Hi,
Hm, seems like a bug: there seems to be an extra "1" after .dcm. Can you show me the same log for the unsorted output as for the sorted output (with all query details?)
Marcel
Hi,
there have to be 2 data directories, 2 databases and 2 dicom.ini files. Typically, therefore the two servers have identical directories with all exe files etc. If your database is dbaseIII or SQLite, the database file(s) are typically stored in a data/dbase folder that could be moved with the data, but that is up to you, as it is configured independently in dicom.ini. There is also a folder printer_files, that is used for printing and temporary files. It is always attached to the MAG0 (data) directory.
The zipped log files are just kept for your sake. They are never read by the software. So you can delete hem or save them anywhere.
Multiple instances may be futher identical except for the PORT number, and the AE title.
Marcel
Hi,
Thanks ;->>>
just close the GUI to stop it. The GUI keeps a copy of dicom.ini. Thus, if you edit dicom.ini manualy, and then would save settings from the GUI you lose your manual changes.

List of known bugs/wishes in 1.4.15
1) Rare random high CPU load hang of a single server thread (bug recently reported on 1.4.14 and 1.4.15alpha, not on 1.4.13).
2) ZipMsgXX.res is probably not linked to the executable. Missing String ID is: 11001. Then there vill be file called ZipTmp??.??? (where ? is wildchar, example of file name is ZipTmp0g.t00). There will be a Zip file as well with exact same timestamp and size (at 5 in the morning). This does not happen every night, sometimes several days will pass, sometimes every night. Conquest version is 1.4.14. Windows Server 64bit R2. SOLUTION: delete zipdll.dll forces using 7za. Skrani reports this happens if more than one GUI is running at the same time. Fixed in 1.4.16alpha: detect and forbid starting multiple GUI's
3) Wish: a clean way of exiting, i.e., that counts active threads: http://www.image-systems.biz/forum/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=1843.
4 ) Allow underscores in AE: http://www.image-systems.biz/forum/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=1847. THIS WILL NOT BE ADDRESSED IN THE NEXT RELEASE. TO ENTER _, CLOSE SERVER, EDIT DICOM.INI, START SERVER.
5) Wish: safer printing: thread-safe and no drops; http://www.image-systems.biz/forum/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=1844.
6) Seems like a warning will drop the connection (logs to be provided): http://www.image-systems.biz/forum/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=1838.
7) Default ports 5678 and 5679 seem in use by Vista; also port 1155. Modify port ranges and test availability of port on fresh install.
8 ) Incomplete server response in cqdicom - lambert ?
9) Web interface fails to query studies and series in databases with really old definition (no patient name in study).
10) ImageQuerySortOrder never worked for a C-MOVE: here is the patch (1.4.15a): http://www.image-systems.biz/f…pic.php?f=33&t=2000#p6624. Also need to cast the sort field to unsigned.
11) Enabling EnableComputedFields seems to cause server crashes. Here is a patch (1.4.15b): http://www.image-systems.biz/f…pic.php?f=33&t=2004#p6644
12) Preparing a send of 10.000's of images takes such long the TCP/IP connection times out before even starting (4 min for 50.000 images). Disable ReadAheadThread makes it start faster but go slower. The memory consumption of the total prepare is about 2000 chars per image (100 MB for 50.000 images). This poses a limit on the size of moves. Code is optimized in next release 14.15c (ftp://ftp-rt.nki.nl/outbox/mar…erver/dgatepatch1415c.zip)
13) conquest does not (yet) support FL tags in the database. Using FL is really a silly idea of the DICOM committee, as they likely would return imprecisily depending on the database type. Added experimental datatypes DT_FL and DT_FD for database definition in 1.4.16alpha, that map to a DT_STR in the database with right length to store a %.16g formatted double: I suggest 32.
14) Worklist issue with Siemens: http://www.image-systems.biz/f…ic.php?f=33&t=2053#p6816; This can likely be solved using WorkListQueryConverter0, already in 1.4.15.
15) The code does assume that everything starting with a number in acrnema.map is an IP adress! See http://www.image-systems.biz/f…ic.php?f=33&t=2077#p6860; fixed in 1.4.16alpha
16) Move to osirix from web interface fails - as always a patient root move is started: See http://www.image-systems.biz/forum/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=2086. Fixed in 1.4.16alpha
17) Wish: configure (mysql) port number. Will allow host:port syntax in 1.4.16alpha for MySQL and PostGres.
18) stropts.h does not compile under all linux flavors: See http://www.image-systems.biz/f…c.php?f=33&t=1666&start=0. Code is fixed in next release 14.15c (ftp://ftp-rt.nki.nl/outbox/mar…erver/dgatepatch1415c.zip)
19) c-move and c-find do not honor CANCEL requests, see: http://forum.image-systems.biz/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=2106; Experimental fix applied in 1.4.16alpha.
20) Uppercase hex numbers in dicom.sql did not work: fixed in 1.4.16alpha.
21) crash during virtual server operation: see http://forum.image-systems.biz/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=2090; fixed in 1.4.16alpha.
22) dgatefn: %studydate% problem: see http://forum.image-systems.biz/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=2115. Fixed in 1.4.16alpha.
23) V2 files can contain a 0xffffffff VR lenght; this will write but not read correctly from the server. It occured with compression setting NJ. Fixed in 1.4.16alpha by bcb.
Please report any bugs you find!
Today, the new version 1.4.15 of the Conquest DICOM server is released.
I would like again to thank all the users of the forum who reported problems, suggested changes, and helped testing and documenting.
The main new features are:
64 bit; postgres; improved virtual server performance; jpg images possible in web interface; multiframe support in serversideviewer; sequence access in scripting; anonymizationscript; better handling of corrupt DICOM files
You can find it at: Where: http://www.xs4all.nl/~ingenium/dicom.html
Marcel
Hi,
if the images do not show aftre search - study - series, you may have to edit the dicom.ini to state the correct address of the server instead of 127.0.0.1
