Hello!
Thank you for making terribly good software.
By the way,I'd like to ask a question.
Can the import be done by assuming images such as JPEG/BMP/TIFF to be DICOM image?
Please my best regards.

Hello Nagata,
Right now, import is only possible for dicom 3 part 10 compliant image files. Other image formats are not yet supported, but I am working on that feature, because I personally need it, too (import of scanned x-rays for instance)
Thank's for your compliment,
Andreas
Thank you for your reply.
It is felt that it is the same as you and the import of the image
other than DICOM are also necessary for me.
Hereafter, please make easy-to-use software.
I want to use K-Pacs in Japan.
Hello,
this importfunction would be great, cause I could import my ultrasound studies, which are n jpeg and review them with k-pACS.
Hello guys,
try the new JPEG and BMP to DICOM function (based on the dicom2.exe by S. Barr?)!
Currently it will convert all images to 8bit greyscale, but unlike DicomWorks or UniPacs these images are fully dicom compliant and you can send them to any server you want!
Please let me know about your experience.
Andreas
Hi Andreas,
great job, thats exactly what a lot of viwers don t have.
For my ultrasoundstudies its very useful.
P.S.
What about the integration of a tv-card? this would allow to transfer us-studies directly in the local database to send it later to the pacs.
Would be a nice feature but there are a lot of things with greater priority to me right now. I will have a look if I can integrate an open source capture driver, that would be the fastest posibility.
Andreas
I have been impressed by your wonderful work.
If the JPEG color image such as endoscopes is importing done, it becomes a monochrome image. My work is ..amusing one...
Right now, K-PACS will resample all jpeg and bmp images to monochrome 8bit for compatibility reasons. I am working on a stable 16bit color import option.
andreas
Thank you for the reply.
It consented.
I am sorry for variously saying the order. I'm waiting for your wonderful work.
