I'm trying to find out the details of 'Overflow management' in server configuration.
Currently I have a system that is dicom sending images to KPACS V 1.5.0. The KPACS workstation is setup for review only and therefore doesnt need to keep images/database entries for more than 7 days. The problem I'm running into is the images are still there well beyond 7 days (and as far as I can tell aren't deleting at all)
Currently Overflow management has the following settings:
checked box on 'based on date of registration'
and max 7 days on local
So my question is:
What triggers the file deletion?(ie idle time, run at specific time ....idle for x amount of time?) which leads to the real question: Why aren't my images deleting?
Since they only push images to this machine at the end of the day for review the next day; my current solution is simply to delete the database once a month(or some other interval) and resend the last 7 days worth of studies(so they have the past 7 days for review as intended)
