v1.4.16 linux storing as .dcm and not as .v2

Hi,

What is the setting in dicom.ini to make conquest store images in DICOM format instead of .v2?
I use v1.4.16 in Linux with mysql. Please let me know. Thanks.

Hi,

I guess that you need to change a parameter in dicom.ini file.

Try change FileNameSyntax to 4.

The answer is in the windowsmanual.pdf page 52. The variable FileNameSyntax in dicom.ini defines the storage type. Use a setting between 8 and 12 depending on the file structure you want.
