Using the import function with a Twain interface to a Vidar Diagnostic Pro film scanner (set for 12 bit mode), the image is recognized as a color image and displayed in shades of blue and green. The Vidar device acquires 12 bit data in 16 bit words.
Using the same Twain interface with adobe CS2, the image is acquired and stored as a 16 bit monochrome tif image. This image can be imported into K-PACS and appears with normal monochrome characteristics.
Is there a configuration setting for K-PACS 1.5.0 that would allow us to import directly using the Twain option?
