I admit that zooming and windowing in rotated images is kind of slow, I will work on that. A big amount of memory is always good, but I am not shure if this will much improve performance in this issue.

IM HAVE PUT 2 GIG MEMORY NEW COMPUTER. ZOOM IS STILL BRUTALLY SLOW, AND ERATIC. IT NEEDS TO BE SMOOTH AND SILKY.
THE WINDOWING IS STILL VERY SLOW
THESE FEATURES NEED TO HAVE MICRO ADJUST.
Hey Bob,
I really don't know what the problem of your computer is. Even my laptop (1.6 Gig Centrino, 512mb) has no performance problems with the images I received from you (the ones Troy sent me). Windowing is as smooth as expected and zooming is not bad at all.
The images I got from you are 16bit FUJI CR with a resolution of 2010x1670 pixel.
At what resolution is your monitor running?
Regards,
Andreas
