E-mailing images

    I read the topic "How to e-mail images". But i can't find security etc. in the popup menu. I can' choose anonymization. And I don't understand, how should it work. It sends the mail as a smtp client? Where is the smtp service defined?


    It intercorporates with the PC's installed mail client ( MS-Outlook Experess etc.)


    When I tried, I can't find the message in OutLook Express.


    It is 0.9.4.2b.

    I can't actually image what you mean with not finding security option, because anonymization is only available via the security item in the popup (right click the e-mail button)
    Here you can also select "encode images" and define a password.
    E-mails will be sent via the default E-mail client of your system, most of the time it is outlook or outlook express. K-PACS send a MAPI request to the system and it opens the client and creates a message with all the images. SMPT settings are therefor an issue of the client not of K-PACS.
