NEED RECOMMENDATION FOR LASER PRINTER (PAPER NOT FILM)

  • wE WOULD LIKE TO PRINT TO PAPER SELECTED VIEWS FOR PATIENT FILES AND TO SEND OUT WITH REPORTS.

OUR PRINTER IS NOT PRINTING THESE IMAGES.

DOES ANYONE HAVE A SUGGESTION FOR A GOOD LASER PRINTER, ETIHER COLOR OR BLACK AND WHITE.

HOW MUCH MEMORY DO WE NEED TO GET GOOD IMAGES?

    THANKS,

    BOB MORROW, D.C.

  • Dr Bob:
I have had great success with the Xerox Phaser series wax printers.
as the name implies they use melted wax instead of ink. The advantace is that wax does not blot when applied by the paper. I use the 8500 color printer but, b&W models are available.
    Good Luck
    Chuck

  • ... are also our suggested systems.

You can use a lot of printers for the 1st 15.000 prints with good results, but then, the quality will go down. XEROX has a permanent good quality as well as low maintenance (consumables etc.). You could also with good long term results use Nashuatec DSC428 (detail contrast better for MRI, lung etc, but dark grey e.g. for cranial CT scans are worse)

    Best regards
