Hello,

I'm attempting to use the "newuids except" option on import with 1.1.17. I would like to only replace the series UID and keep the study UID and SOP UID the same.

I have placed the following in the dicom.ini file:

ImportConverter0 = newuids except 0020,000D|0008,0018

This does keep the SOP UID, but the study UID and series UID change.

Why does this option not keep the study UID static? Is this expected behavior?
