    thanks Hubert, its working.
But unfortunately you can t preselect a patient, you get the whole list with all patients.
And you can t display the database layout, allthough this may be of minor importance.
I think there must be something wrong.

I ve running winxp with IE7 on my notebook with conquest1.4.13alpha with wamp installed with the server online.
I am not able to get access to the images with the webviewer neither from the installation nor from other pc ( there with IE6 as webbrowser)
The activx controls are allowed, firewall out, security lowest level and the activeformproj1 is started ( registered )
Further more I am not able to display the database layout.
On the other way round, I am not able to get access to the images of other installations with the webviewer.
I ve no idea what is going wrong here. Any suggestions what to check?
The dicomserver itself is running properly.

as Matt points out, I also would use K-Pacs for query and retrieve and transfer studies to other machines cause you can select by time range and modality, which is not possible with the conquest gui.

first of all, you ve to make a decision, if you want to store all the files uncompressed or compressed to your new archive.
But how do you get al your files?
If you want to store all the files uncompressed, you can sore all the dcm files to 1 folder and regenerate import them to your database with the regenerate function.
If you want to store the all the files compressed, I would set up a temporary dicomserver to import all the files umcompressed as mentioned and move them with k-pacs to your new dicomserver.
I transfered with this method round about 1 TB from 1 server to another, transferring the files in terms of six month.
With dropping the files by hand, you ll get mad on 1,2 TB.

    For my understandng.
The batchfile is able to create multiple dvd for storing and burning with third party software while moving them from the original folder of conquest to the created dvd folders.
So if I want to burn for example 80GB, there should be created 17 dvd folders with the dcm files, when running the batch file.
    Is that correct?
I s this working on anybodies pc without probs?

Thansk for your fast reply, but the probs remain for me.
Installing the dgate and the dicom.ini in the folder scripts I get the following error code

    what con be wrong here?
With apache I don t have any probs, but I don t want to install 2 webservers ( or better said our client )

    hello,

where can I store the necessary files ( dgate.exe etc. ) for running the webviewer with IIS?
There is no folder cgi-bin like apache.
Storing the files in scripts, wwwroot failed, I only could download the dgate.exe but not starting it.

I ve a single dvd burner and want to burn with third party software ( Nero ).
I guess that the only way, as Marcel proposed, to store the images instead of moving them is to mirror them additionally.
But my prob at the moment is that only one dvd has been created instead of multiple that would contain in total the amount of files that I want to burn.
May be I did anything wrong here, but at the moment I don t know what.
