Now, I reinstalled the prog ( last version) in my office on different computers. I can see the patient in the list , when quering efim and the pacs, but I can t open the images. And I don t why.
on the other hand, it works, when k-pacs is installed on the same pc as the pacs.
efim is running wothout any probs, so I don t believe in a networkprob.
the pcs are running with windows xp ans w2k. any suggestions?
As I told you, at home it is runningwell.

I don t know if its a bug, but using the query and retrieve function to efilm, I can see the patient in the list, but the viewing screen remains black.
    With dicomconquest it worls fine.
sending images to efilm and from eflm to k-pacs works.

Thank you for your fast reply. Unfortunately I didn t read your announcement in features and functions, whre you ve explainesd it. Well, all works fine.
I ve tested the email function with medium compression, the import works without any probs, could be very usefull for our rads for remote reviewing emergency cases at home, e.g. brain scans.
Phillipe Puech with dicomworks has a created a special email import function, could this be possible as well in k-pacs? Well, I dont know, how much work it is.

I recentlly downloaded the last version ( 0.9.2.1 beta ), which has the import-function of jpeg images ( works great ). But unfortunately now I can t import dicom studies anymore. What has happened? Is there one button missing?

    P.S.

What about the integration of a tv-card? this would allow to transfer us-studies directly in the local database to send it later to the pacs.

What about the integration of a web-server for viewing studies in the internet with a password? Could be useful.
Is there any interest in this?

Does k-pacs support palette color? I want to review the thyroid studies in color, a feature that efilm doesn t support.
Is this possible with k-pacs? If yes, is it installed or how to install it.

    Hello Andreas,

    thanks for your fast reply.
At the moment, I ll send the picts via email as attacht ( as pdf-files ) to the neurosurgeons
For reviewing the picts at homes as a remote service your prog would be great, so the radiologist could install the same prog. and would be able to review the studie, I ll try this at once.
Part of the doctors have efilm 1.5.3, but sending the studies direktly via internet is tricky, I am working on that, perhaps it will go better with k-pacs.
anyway, I ll post my experience, perhaps you are interest in information how it works.

    Hello,

first of all, I want to say, looking the sceenshots, that you ve done a bloody good job with your prog.
I also use conquestpacs, and ist running stable under mysql und mssql and not that evil to install like pacsone.
I did not had that bad experience with efilm, what I am using about 4 years, but its gettin a little bit expensiv, and so I am lookin for a good prog for my remote doctors, in general orthopaedic surgeons who want to at the picts.
I want to wait for the update of your prog.
What would be great would be the possibilty to send picts via net, we sometimes have to send picts to neurosurgeons with the question of intervention in case of intracerebral bleeding.
The integration of a web-server could be useful, cause pacs one is horrible to install and not that stable.
best wishes to you and success to your prog.
