I tried both, with and without internal decompressor, it didn't change anything!
BTW, I don't think it's a 'history' tag, but I'm not sure! It is the TAG (0008,2111)!
The TAG is transmitted, even if I select NKI compression!!

But I found a solution, if I transfer a JPEG-Compressed Image to an other conquestPACS via net and perform then NKI compression the 'JPEG-Compressed TAG' remains, but, the images can be read in now by Pinnacle! So, Pinnacle has not only a problem with the TAG but with something else I don't know!

Not nice but it works. It was better to get rid of that TAG and that other issue! May be there is a bug?

We save the images as Lossless JPEG in the conquest pacs.
When sending the imgages (CT) to an other pacs or to our Treatment Planning System the images are decompressed, But:

    1. in fact the images are uncompressed after transmission (you can see it from file size)
    2. but the dicom header remains unchanged (the header still reads "Lossless JPEG compression")

This causes an error when importing the data to our Planning System (Pinnacle):
e.g. Siemens CT,MR can be read in but GE CT-images cannot be read in (due to the: "Lossless JPEG compression").

I need a solution to get really uncompressed Images from the PACS!

    Thank's,
    Frank

After updating to version 0.95 the printing doesn't work. I tried different printers but I only got empty pages from the printer.
Do I have to change somethings? During installation I choose "update".

    Thanks
    Frank

I use K-Pacs in connection with Conquest.
At the moment the content of the local Image Box doesn't show Patient Name and ID, when I try edit them, the fields are empty! When I view them, I can read name and ID, so the data seams to be transmitted correctly and still present in the *.dcm files.
In earlier times it worked maybe it doesn't work since last update to 0.9.4b but I'm not sure about the first time.

Can anybody help? The studies seam to be anonomized!

    Regards
    Frank

Does anybody have experience with using a PACS for DICOM RT objects (Radio Therapy) in general?
Is there a possibility of using k-pacs to store DICOM-RT ? objects and, most important, to view RT Objects using k-pacs?

    Frank

Is there any possibility of using K-Pacs for DICOM Printing? I Think, this feature was already announced but by now it seams not possible! Or is it only for the ?Professional? version available? And if so, when will be the Professional version available?

Is there any other way using DICOM PRINT (any free tool)?

    Thanks
    Frank
