I know that one of the most recent posts stated that the PatientID should not be changed due to database issues. We basically need the opposite of the fixkodak, one of our hospitals has changed RIS and the new data has extra 0s, however the old data does not. We need to be able add leading 0s to send to the workstation. We don't care if its stored in the DB, but on the workstation the PatientIDs must match.
