    If you are in "filesystem" mode you can only scan for images and import them into the database via the "view" button. In "database" mode you can then export them to CD or CD-Project.

    You can create dicomdir files with the export->burn CD option. If you select "create project" you files will not be burned but copied to an export directory. A dicomdir will be created.

    you can do this by yourself:

    open den custom.ini and change one of the default modality filters to XC.

    StudyBrowserForm.Mod6.Caption=US
    StudyBrowserForm.Mod7.Caption=CT
    StudyBrowserForm.Mod8.Caption=MR
    StudyBrowserForm.Mod9.Caption=DR
    StudyBrowserForm.Mod10.Caption=OT
    StudyBrowserForm.Mod15.Caption=CR
    StudyBrowserForm.Mod14.Caption=NM
    StudyBrowserForm.Mod13.Caption=RF
    StudyBrowserForm.Mod12.Caption=SR
    StudyBrowserForm.Mod11.Caption=SC

    Hi Pete,
    Sorry if I got you wrong.
    I thought with the term "3D package" you meant the iQ-3D upgrade module and not the "iQ-View 3D" software.
    Of course you can bind in iQ-View 3D (http://www.iq-view.com/download/try/iQ-VIEW%203D_21035.exe) into any DICOM network you want, since it bundles all neccesary libraries and applications in order to receive and send DICOM images from and to all sort of PACS systems.

    Unfortunately, the 3D will not work as a standalone application since it does not provide a DICOM Store SCP (server) and therefore can not receive images. This part is done by iQ-View. Furthermore, it requires uncompressed RAW data as input and not DICOM. iQ-View's interface will convert DICOM to RAW automatically.

    Make sure, that the target server does not have access restriction. Most archives require a setup before you can query them. Another problem could be the supported QueryRetrieve Information Model. To find out, what QRIM your archive support you can either look into the Conformance Statement of your archive or contact our support team (support<at>image-systems.biz) that will help you find out this information.

    What does the logfile say after you tried to rebuild the database? Just click the "jobs" button or "CTRL+J" and select the log view. Here, K-PACS should tell you why it did not rebuild the database.

    Andreas

    Could you please send an example image to support@image-systems.biz?
    To do so, select the study in the database (imagebox) view and click the export button. Select "open in explorer". No you can copy one of the .dcm files and send it .zip compressed to the above e-mail address.

    First you have to select the angle tool. To do so, right-click the measure button and select angle from popup. Then you can draw two lines and the inner and outer angle will be displayed.

    Regards,
    Andreas

    Could you send me some examples of images that are writte onto the CD but do not appear in the DICOMDIR?

    Did K-PACS tell you that there is a missmatch between CD content and DICOMDIR content?

    Andreas

    Sorry I missed your posting...

    what kind of mail server do you want to connect to? IQ-View supports POP and SMTP Protocol with and without authentification, but not secure authentification (SPA). Maybe there is a firewall application blocking port 110.

    Well, yes and no.
    By default, K-PACS sends each image in a single association. There is a K-PACS.ini option "SendMultipleFilesInOneAssociation" that will activate this feature but unfortunately this will only work if Database and Imagebox point to the same directory. By default this is true in iQ-View but not in K-PACS. But before you try to move your imagebox into the database directory I would like to advise you to wait for the next update (release due mid. April) which will resolve this issue.
