    Hi,

i am trying to use an export converter for running an external program -> winrar with options to create a *.rar file. The rar file will be then automatically fetched by an autoftp service for transfering data from a mobile mammography unit to our main location. Therefore the dicom files should be file compressed and limited to the count of produced files so that the compressed file is about 3-5MB. For automatism i want to use the export converter within conquest.
In my dicom.ini file the following lines are included:

    ExportConverters = 1
    ExportConverter0 = WinRAR a -ibck -r -o+ -ag+YYYYMMDDHHMM-NN _SC %f C:\DicomWork\SyncRAR\

Finally conquest runs the export as shown in the log:
    06.08.2007 13:51:19 [TRMAMMO] Exportconverter0.0 executes: WinRAR a -ibck -r -o+ -ag+YYYYMMDDHHMM-NN _SC D:\DCMData\TRMAMMO\W_08_07_24-11_47_38-DST-1_3_12_2_1107_5_12_7_2113\MG_1\2\1.3.12.2.1107.5.12.7.2113.30000008072408562028100000003.dcm C:\DicomWork\SyncRAR\

    but nothing happens.
The path variable is right set for winrar. If i take this sequence of the log and put it into a cmd box the command will be executed correctly. So what could be wrong?

    Thanks in advance.
    Regards Mike

IQView or K-Pacs does not show the overlay bitmap if the entry is checked in the programs menu.

What elements have to be there? When adding the following data to the dicom file a 1 bit barcode could be seen on the upper left corner.

Only a few viewers show the bitmap correct e.g. efilm. What information or elements from the overlay tags does K-Pacs or IQView expect so that the bitmap is shown ?

    Hello,

since two weeks we do have a new installation of a Fuji Profect Reader system (CR Reader) with a workstation that supports worklist modality.

According to Fuji support the worklist only works if the study UID is generated in the worklist database as a returning key value. We do not have a RIS system that supports this functionality together with the Fuji system.

The study UID has to be generated within the fuji system conform an ISO statement and can not be compulsary on the worklist server ? javascript:emoticon(':?:')
    QuestionI am right ?

We do have other software installations from 3rd parties that have no problems with the worklist servers we use when acquiring a new image with the returned fields of the worklist query.

Is there a standard for the worklist server that describes that we have to offer the study UID ?

I already had a look a the Dicom home page:
    http://medical.nema.org/dicom/2007/
but it is difficult to get out this info of all the descriptions.

    Hi clabbadia

sorry, was too fast with my first answer. With the stored raw data from Senographe 2000D in conquest is it possible to use them in a CAD system ?

Does store conquest MG images for presentation that can be queried from a mammo workstation ?

    Mike

    Sorry no not really,

MG (Digital Mammography X-Ray) is a modality like CT, MR, CR and so on. The question was intented for the storage of MG data in conquest.

Does conquest server store MG data for presentation and/or MG for processing e.g. CAD (-> Dicom Mammo CAD SR)?

    Mike

    Hi,

we are planning conquest as main online archive (with MS SQL 2000 or 2005) in a mammo screening unit that is working with digital mammo stations (creation and viewing modalities) because we made the best experiences the last 1 1/2 years (great job Marcel).

Does conquest support Dicom DR or Dicom MG (for presentation)? I had a look at the SOP but could not find an entry for the MG or digitaly mammography issue.

    Hi Marcel,

i tried all variations wih \\{server}\{share} or mapped drive with drive letter with NAS or with server share but still have the same problem.
I think this is not a problem of the NAS. If it works on your Windows 2000 it seems that it is related with the OS because on XPSP2 it does not really work.
Well it is not really a big problem because i just use the as workaround the dgate.exe -p# as command box running.

    Hi Marcel,

that????s what i did. It does no matter to take local or a domain accout for the service. Sorry for that. I don????t want to bother you but as database and sys admin i know how to handle with the services.
I agree with you that is has to do with rights but i does not work only with the rights on the share or the file system.
May be the account needs the additional rights like acting as a service. I am going to try this.

    Michael

    Hello Marcel,

i tried now a windows share with maximum rights and used the mounted drive as local store path in the GUI.
Then i installed the service from the Dicom server GUI and got the same results after i setup up the user logon service of dgateserv to max rights.

For further testing i opened the GUI again with the dgate app running as service and send from another node files to the server. The info was written correct in the database, the server status windows wrote "written file ..." but in fact no files were created in the path directory. So it seems to be reproduceable or i always do the same thing wrong? What else can be wrong ?

The testing with service mill was an addional testing instead of dgateserv. This should be another alternative and by the way i really appreciate your work and your help. The conquest server is a real great tool.

    Regards
    Michael

    Hello Marcel,

the service user is the same that i am logged on the system. I have Domain Admin rights and full rights on the share and the file system on the NAS.

The NAS is already up when the service is started. I did the start and stop manually.

What i don????t understand is that the command line with dgate works fine and within the service it has problem.

I have additionally tested a software called service mill. With that software you can install apps running as services that could normally not run as service.
I have got the the same results with the error message.
Well i will try it now with a Windows share to see if there is difference and let you know about the results.

    Hi Tom,

i did successfully with SQL Express. You have to modify the ODBC settings.
Remove within the ODBC DSN setting the SQL config that comes with the generate ODBC from the Conquest Dicom server.

Instead you have to set up the native SQL client with the same settings (SQL Server, database, security and so on)
Of course you can download from Microsoft the free management tools for the express version. http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/sql/
-> free management tool for further administration of the DB. The max. db size is now 4GB.

    Hello Marcel,

thanks for the info. I added AD support to the NAS and increased the security on share an files to maximum. The NAS is not another Windows machine. It is a RAID 5 volume with a pre OS that offers AD support.
    (5x750GB harddiscs)

The dgateserve service had also the same rights but i still does not work.
For testing i started the dgate.exe with the /p# -v on the command line. This worked fine.
Files could be queried and send from an to the server. It seems that if a network drive is mapped even if having enough rights the service runs with a "not enough rights in MAG0" error message.
Does this come from the accesstest.log routine? I had a short look at the source file. What else could produce this message and stop the server working as a service?
