    Helo,

    Is it possible to have Conquest route to a possible of 3 destinations based on the first 2 (or 3) characters of a patient ID? Knowing Conquest, it's probably possible. My problem is, I just don't know how to fashion the ExportConverter to accomplish this.

    Thank you!

    Hello,

    I'm wondering if it is possible for Conquest to forward studies to a Workstation on a WAN that is signed up with a Dynamic DNS service. In other words, the DICOM device entry in Conquest would be something like "Radiologist.ddns.net" rather than a conventional IP address. This ddns entry would resolve to the users current IP but I'm not sure how or if Conquest can accomplish this.

    Thank you

    Hello,

    I realize you can selectively delete certain tags with an ImportConverter (for example using "delete 0011,1016"). But is there a one ImportConverter command that can delete all tags that begin with 0011 rather than having to list each tag as a separate ImportConverter? I've tried several variations and have yet to find one that works.

    thank you,

    Hello,

    I have a Conquest server that autoroutes to other workstations and servers. One of the servers Conquest routes to has an issue with the caret "^" character in the Patient Name tag (0010,0010) interfering with proper queries of it. I am looking for a way to have Conquest remove the caret and substitute a space in this tag before the ExportConverter routes to this other server. I'm not quite sure how to do this. Could this be done with an ImportConverter or would it be done by modifying the ExportConverter for this destination?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Marcel,

    Yes, you are correct. It makes no difference whether the UI is open or minimized. I'm not sure why I had some problems initially but NightlyMoveThreshhold is working fine now minimized or not.

    Thank you for your help.

    Well, that was easy. Apparently the GUI needs to be open, not minimized. The only change I made was leaving the GUI open, rather than minimized, and last night the NightlyMove was successful. So, in this case "open" really means OPEN. I'm surprised it makes a difference but it apparently does...

    Hi Marcel,

    I checked on the server this morning and found the NightlyMove had failed. I was met with a Windows alert that dgate64.exe had quit. The GUI was open (but minimized) and a blank Command Prompt window was open.

    After logging in to the server this morning the following was created in the daily maintenance log:

    Conquest responded to a DICOM Echo this morning when I logged in but the Windows Event Viewer (time stamped at 2:00:17) showed that dgate quit apparently when starting the NightlyMove:

    When I upgraded this server to 1.4.17c I did so by copying all new files and replacing the previous ones (with the exception of the windows manual). I halted the dgate process prior to doing the copying.

    I'm not sure how to proceed.

    Thank you

    Ah, I see. Thank you Marcel. I was just going to post that NightlyMove failed last night. I will bring them up to 1.4.16c or 1.4.17. Does the GUI still need to remain open? Also, this server is using dbaseIII. I presume this is not a problem.

    Hello,

    I have the Conquest Modality Worklist functioning and am wondering if anyone knows of a free standalone Worklist SCU application to query the worklist. Although the modalities have this function I am looking to have a few PC's perform the query too but haven't been able to find anything. I'm just wondering if any Conquest users know of anything that might be available.

    Thanks

    Hello All,

    I implemented a NightlyMoveThreshhold to allow Conquest 1.4.16 to span 2 volumes but it doesn't seem to work. The following should move studies from MAG0 to MAG1 when the amount of free space drops below 60GB but for some reason the move does not happen:

    # Configuration of disk(s) to store images
    MAGDeviceThreshhold = 0
    MAGDeviceFullThreshHold = 30
    IgnoreMAGDeviceThreshold = 0
    MAGDevices = 2
    MAGDevice0 = E:\images\
    MAGDevice1 = F:\images2\
    NightlyCleanThreshhold = 0
    NightlyMoveThreshhold = 60000
    NightlyMoveTarget = MAG1

    Should NightlyMoveTarget be changed from "MAG1" to "MAGDevice1"?

    Does the GUI need to be open at 2:00 a.m. for this to work?

    This is a Windows 2008 R2 Server.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Ahh, you are absolutely correct Marcel. Apparently my error was in the way I was testing it. It works perfectly. As far as viewing the header I primarily use a Java application called DICOM Dumper by NeoLogica. Thank you for your response.

    Hello,

    I have attempted to use the following ImportConverter to change the DICOM header of incoming images. My intent is to remap the info contained in the Performing Physician tag (0008,1050) and insert this in the Referring Physician tag (0008,0090).

    ImportConverter0 = set 0008,0090 to "%V0008,1050"

    While it changes the tag info in the Conquest database it does not actually change the header of the images. Can Conquest change the actual header of images prior to storing and forwarding them?

    Thank you

    Thanks Marcel,

    I'll experiment with this. In a case where a received file has an unknown number of frames (typically 20-30) would I state "..i" as the maximum number in the script, as you've shown in the example? What if this value exceeds the number of received frames?

    I'll have to dig into using lua scripts to get a handle on this.

    Hello,

    I have a Philips MR that sends each sequence over as a multi-frame object with the images imbedded as frames. Does Conquest have the ability to separate each frame in the received file as a DICOM image and forward it to another device? There is another device on the network that cannot handle these multiframe images, so this would be quite beneficial.

    Thank you

    I was wondering if there is a way to have a Conquest server pass through the original AETitle of the modality that sent the images when Conquest routes to another server. In other words, if AETitle XRAY1 sent a study to Conquest, is it possible to have the study retain the AETitle of XRAY1 when it was routed to another server instead of it assuming the AETitle of the Conquest server.
