I got some more information for this issue. The SOPClassUID for the PR Received appears to be

    1.2.840.10008.5.1.4.1.1.11.1

and it does resides in the dgatesop.lst file for that Conquest server in particular as

    GrayscaleSoftcopyPresentationStateStorage 1.2.840.10008.5.1.4.1.1.11.1 sop

So why will it not send then the PR ?

The PR is being sent from the MR vendor magnet which is Philips. It is being stored as just a header.

I cannot see anything in dgatesop.lst about this. I paste the server's copy below:

What should I exactly enter in dgatesop.lst for this to be prevented ?

Here is a dump of what the PR header shows with the patient demographics marked with "#"

    Hello

Whenever I try a C-MOVE for a study that has PR embedded in the study, Conquest gives a Dicom Move error and failed to send subsequent series.

    e.g series level

    MR
    MR
    PR
    MR
    MR

The first 2 MR series are sent. Once it gets to PR the Dicom move error occurs. In the Conquest database display, all I see with the PR is header information. It is not an image as such.

Is there a way to get Conquest to by-pass the PR and send sub-sequent series of the study ?

I am having the same problem when trying to send studies from Conquest to a Philips MR System Archiva Release 2.5.3.0 2007-09-28.

C-Move from Philips to Conquest works fine. However when going the other way we get a C-Move error.

If anyone uses Philips MR with Conquest can they give some input as to specifics Philips might need.

    Thank You

    Hi

We have a modality node (Philips MRI) that sends dicom studies to a Conquest server (PACS A). PACS A is configured to forward the studies as they arrive to another storage system (PACS B) for this particular modality (MR). i.e

    Philips MRI -> PACS A -> PACS B ---- (1)

Is it possible to use the same server on the same port to also forwarding studies of this modality as per (2) without conflicting with (1) above:

    PACS B -> PACS A -> Philips MRI ----- (2)

At present I have setup another Conquest server on same machine with a different port to do this.

    Thank You

Nightly clean is run by the GUI, so the GUI needs to be up and running - may not be the case when you use conquest as a service.

On most occasions the GUI is not open on the PC I have installed it on (definetely not after hrs). So from what you say here nightly cleanup will not take place at all. Then what I will do here is open it on the non administrator account, and use the option 'Hide the server (as a tray icon)'. This will ensure proper database maintenance.

The other cleanup runs when images are recieved. However, it works as follows: when a disk is full (< 30 mb), it cleans up until the given amount is reached. This may be considered a bug.

The disk in my case was not < 30 MB (it was at a higher number quoted above). The manual I think does not state the 30 MB threshold on this feature. I assumed that the threshold to start deletion, was at the number I set it to for 'Clean Up Below' feature. Some misunderstanding on my part.

I will use the Nightly feature to handle the database maintenance.

Need more details to help on this one.

    - Conquest installed as NT Service
    - The default DBASE provided is used and setup on the same drive as Conquest.
    - Both Clean up features used as stated above
    - Keep Alive setting was not used.
    - The Conquest GUI does display the correct amount of disk left where the data folder resides.

Is this enough enough ? Please be more specific on what else might be needed.

I plan to setup a seperate box with same as above and see what happens with auto delete.

    Louis

    Hi

I have setup Conquest to auto delete studies. The clean disk below was set to 10000 MB (10 GB), and clean nightly below was set to 15000 MB (15 GB). So in theory clean disk below should never be reached.

However I noticed that auto delete never took place as new studies were not being stored as there was only 1.8 GB left in storage.

Can the two cleanup setting options be used together or do I have just to use one setting, and leave the other set to 0 ?

Does the logs keep records of auto deletes attempts outcome ? If so which log file is of interest ?

I will for the time being try this command manually

    dgate.exe -ff15000

from the DOS prompt, to see if any deletes takes place and storage is freed.

    Any feedback is appreciated.

    Thank You

    Hi There:

Q1. With the burning option, when I right click from the Export button, the Select CD burning program is blocked. How can I select a CD burning program like Nero ?

Q2. From the ImageBox, I selected the image, after left clicking on export and select burn on cd, there are three buttons that are in German. Can someone clarify their meaning in English ?

Q3. I went ahead and selected the Brenen button, Windows Xp braught up the burning program. It burnt successfully on CD. But now how do I play the contents on the CD ? I cannot play the CD although I see a lot of files in there. Whcih files loads a viewer on the CD ?

    Thank you
