does anybody know when IQ-VIEW 2.7 will be released?
does anybody knows if it will be Win7 64bit compatible?
as a workaround I had to create a batch file to automatically delete the bmp from the exported folders.
however i don't understand what is the purpose of all those bmp?
it seems to me that they only represent a waste of disk space
iQ-VIEW has the same issue
if you export a case to a folder you get DICOM and bmp as well
there's should be an option to get rid of bmp when exporting
they are a waste of space and make file copy slower
any news regarding iQ-VIEW 2.7 compatibility with Win7 64bit systems?
this issue is the only reason preventing us to buy a 2nd licence.
I'd like iQ-VIEW to have this nice feature I found in other DICOM viewers.
just click inside a viewbox, digit Ctrl+C on your keybord, then digit Ctrl+V in an OpenOffice or Microsoft Word file, to paste that image inside the text document
if iQ-view could copy images to clipboard it would be a great addition!!!
structured reports would be easier.
do you think sucha feature would be possible to implement?
this a reminder to fix this important issue.
3x1, 5x6, 6x6, 4x2 printing formats are still missing
I hope you will enable them in forthcoming iQ-VIEW 2.7
any news about Win7 64bit porting?
4x2 layout is missing too...
i hope you will add it in next release
so what about 3x1 layout?
any chance to see it in 2.7 version?
is there any way i can print images with scout pilot inside?
it would be very useful for spine MRI studies in which axial images need a sagitall scout pilot with an horizontal reference line in order to know the exact disc level.
actually i have to manually add a text note (i.e. L1-L2) on axial images and this is time consuming.
thanks. film waste is annoying
is anybody aware of this printing issue?
I use iq-view 2.6.0 and there is an issue about printing dicom images.
try this example:
- select 5x5 layout
- add a selection of image (let's say 26 images)
- then delete the 26th images to just fill 1 sheet
- enter print
the 2nd blank sheet will be printed anyway... even if you deleted the 26th image
actually deleting images in the print manager has no effect on the number of printed sheets and this has no sense. to avoid the blank sheet bug you have to go back in the file viewer and deselect the 26th image and then reopen the print manager
I think Iq-View should not allow user to print blank pages because it's clearly a waste of film.
another nice feautre would be an alert message before printing incomplete sheets.
it happened some time that I did not realize I have more than 25 images per sheet (i.e. 28)
so i enter the print and i get 1 full 5x5 sheet and an almost empty 5x5 sheet.
i think Iq-View should alert me with a pop-up message like this: "page number 2 is incomplete, do you still wanna print it?)
in this way i could decide if I wanna remove those 3 extra images or add other 22 to fill the second sheet.
thanks for your attention
thanks, changing the overlay scaling from 85 to 50 and the font size from 14 to 28 improved the readability
now I will try to edit the DICOM labels.
thanks for the hints about the manual.
I checked the .ini files and I have defualt settings like:
[PrintSettings] Default settings
OverlayTextScaling=85
Overlay MaxTextSize=14
OverlayMinTextSize=4
with this preset the fonts are too small and too blurry to be easily readable.
do you suggest to use lower OverlayTextScaling rather than changing the other parameters?
well, what about the 3x1 layout? it is not too large
it's very commonly used in radiology expecially in foot studies where you have 3 views (AP, LL, oblique)
i think that at least 3x1 should be included in next release
thanks for informations.
I hope you will solve that issue.
when do you plan to release version 2.7?
I've recently bought a licence of IQ-View 2.6.
I have a compalint about the DICOM print function.
it seems there's no way to customize the size of the font of the image reproduced on the film
expecially if you print MRI studied with 5x5 format, the font size will be so small that is almost impossible to read.
you should add a feature to let used define the font's size
and another feature to decide which DICOM data should appear on the printed film images.
for example i would like to get rid of the patient ID from the printed film
I only need patient's name, date of birth , exam date, TR, TE, MR sequence. that's it
do you think my requests could be pleased in IQVIEW 2.7?
