As i am using Windows as my OS and i had deployed oviyam on Tomcat. As, Tomcat is running on port 8080. So, i put port 8080 and later http://127.0.0.1/cgi-bin/dgate.exe. But issue remains same. Please guide me where i am making mistake.

    Hi

I had following queries. Please help me in finding there answers.

    1. Can i use MYSQL database in primary slave combination? If yes then what will be the configuration.

2.Compression based on body part or modality type.

    3. How can i setup conquest server as a cache server? I had two conquest servers. One server is the main archive server and other will work as cache server. The cache server will listens for the scheduled exams (read data from conquest worklist table) and retrieves comparison images for the scheduled patient from the archive on basis of study description. Please tell me how can i make the cache server to be fast in terms of image retrieval.

I had tested the prefetch option you told me earlier that sometimes hang the whole server and most of the times didn't fetch any result.

    4. Can you explain me the concept and use of VIRTUAL SERVER and VIRTUAL QUERIES in conquest? I had read the manual and forum but its still unclear to me.

    5. Is it possible that i save the same version of image in different compression ratios. For slow network or clinics, highly compressed images must be available and for Radiologist raw images with zero compression should be available. I must have the option to define which AETs come under slow network and which should query raw images.

Note: When should we expect the new version of the conquest? As, its a long time no patch or updates are available. Have you stop working on the project or its just workload.

    --Hammad

    Can you explain me this

    AE AE RemoteAE

In AE i put the AE of remote machine. For example the workstation i want to allow is WS01 then the above statement becomes

CONQUEST WS01 Whats shd i write in REMOTE AE.

Can i put this detail in a separate text file and point it path of dicom.ini ....If so please guide.

    --HM

I wanted to control the configuration form database instead of text file.

I tried to recreate the dicom.ini file from database and also succeed but newly file lost its formatting.
Can this requirement or wishlist be taken care in the new versions of conquest and when we expect a new version 1.5 or 2.0 :)

    --HM

But it doesn't work even putting them in dgatesop.lst. Any modality can connect put my server credentials and start sending images and in other way any workstation put PACS credentials and query/retrieve images.

I want a selected list of modalities to send images to server and same is the case with workstation. Please guide me.

    --hammad

    Hi

Objective : I want to Restrict Workstations and Modalities Communicating with Conquest PACS Server

I want to define a list of workstations that can query and retrieve images from Conquest PACS Server. I had define workstations details under the tab of workstation configuration in GUI. But the workstations that are not configured can also query the server and get result against that search.

okie thanks. i will live with the short column names :(

Sorry for asking this question in the post. i am using dgate.exe --deletepatient:1234.

This command is executed once and after that on server console it shows deleting patient but no in actual no patient is deleted. Please guide.

    --HM

Thanks Marcel! I got it up and running with your support.

An error / bug i just noticed is the database column names. in dicom.sql the column name is HospitalAddress but in database its hospitalAdd. How can i make them readable for future use..

and after first run of conquest. dicom.sql and dicom.ini is generated. i change the tables names from DICOMPATIENT to just PATIENT. On regenerating database the server instead of renaming old tables generate new tables.

    --HM

There is quite a strange behavior of conquest.

    If i added this line in dicom.sql : { 0x0018, 0x0050, "Slice Thickness", 16, SQL_C_CHAR, DT_STR }

and i close the server and restart it i got the following error message

The server is not running properly : no connection
Probable cause : NT Service failed to start (check account and password)

and if i remove above mentioned sql, the server starts without any error.

and secondly the error / bug i just noticed is the database column names. in dicom.sql the column name is Hospital Address but in database its hospitalAdd. How can i make them readable...
