    So if I wanted to store all images to Conquest then forward to Stentor it would be something like:

    ExportConverters = 1
    ExportModality = *
    ExportConverter = forward to STENTOR

    ???

    Unsure of wildcard usage in "ExportModality"

    (I "lost" my testserver box to the front desk. Sigh)

    Thanks. That worked great and pointed me in the right direction to get more info.

    dgate --query:"DICOMStudies |StudyDate, StudyModal,PatientID,PatientNam,PatientSex,PatientBir ||%s,%s,%s,%s,%s,%s |demographics.txt"

    :-)

    Is it possible to edit the MySql database directly without having to re-initialize database through Conquest. Would you need to re-initialize for every edit or could you edit a number of patients THEN re-initialize.

    OR

    After editing do you just need to restart the service.

    I want to export the patient demographic data from MySQL to OpenOffice Calc (spreadsheet). Comma delimited file would be great for importing into Oo.

    Is this possible and does anyone have any hints for how to go about it?

    Thanks,
    Matt

    Unpack conquest in a temp directory. Rename the current CQDICOM.DLL to CQDICOM.odl. Copy CQDICOM.dll from temp and place in [path]\dicomserver. Restart conquest.

    On configuration tab, push the [Install as NT Service] button.

    just installed .13..

    I have never "noticed" this before..

    Any ideas?

    just out of curiosity:

    Are you bringing sets of studies into K-Pacs and then trying to transfer or are you trying to do a move?

    I have had situation where move from B to C failed, but saving to A(Kpacs) from B(source) first then transfering to C (conquest) will work.

    Andreas,

    I can't seem to post a screen shot of the search. The log file has patient info. However, I can tell you that I did a search on Nuclear Med studies and all the daily QC images come back with a referring physiscian of "Hitachi" which is the MR magnet and the communication log also list study types as MR.?? The NM tech told me that the wrong physician is listed on alot of the NM scans.

    How can I send you the screen shot?

    PS, Ack.. I did not know that such an extensive rewrite would be necessary for changing how patients are listed.

    Is there a configuration change available to the user to have all studies on ONE patient listed under that patients name?

    Ie.. Instead of having a seperate line PT name, study date etc, for every study:

    Have one line with PT Name / MRN and sub menu that list all studies for that patient?

    Also, I have this wierd thing going on that will list the wrong study.
    ie Patient had a abd/pel CT but it will list CT Head or MR. Also will have wrong Requesting physician.

    Bruce,

    That would be GREAT! :-)

    I'll break it and let you know how I did it... :-0

    I am in the process of getting a new Raid Controller. I need to get one that will work with BSD with Raid 6 and some cache. My problem with BSD at the moment is that it doesn't like my USB drive. Sigh.. Work around planned, but it may take awhile.

    Look forward to seeing BSD install.

    Matt

    Bitsltd,

    Do I understand that you can get the command line dgate to run on BSD? Or are there Apple specific extensions on BSD that are particular to your work?

    The reason I am asking is that I was wondering if you are able (and want to) have this available for a generic BSD system (ie FreeBSD, Net or OpenBSD)

    BSD variants seem to like RAID configurations better than Linux "out of the box" so to speak.

    As I have said before, I am not a programmer, just a fairly competent user that can get things installed and working. (Especially when I RTFM)

    I figure if I can get things installed, configured and running then anyone can.

    Cheers

    Thanks

    Will be uncompressed on server with .dcm for compliancy. I was just trying to make sure that I choose filenamesyntax wisely this time. :-)

    3,8,9... I guess I'll go with 8 when I get linux/Apache/MySql/PHP/Conquest install working.

    (as cheap as storage is nowadays and not having 10's of TB to worry about for a few years, I am just going to keep server side uncompressed.)

    Following Linux thread closely.

    Yes, the whole point of this exercize is to get the filenamesyntax in the correct format.

    Just dragged the entire data directory to an external usb (1TB) drive with windows explorer. (yes, it takes a Looooong time) I wanted the entire database.

    It is my understanding that with all the data in a drive that conquest doesn't use, that I can now change Filenamesyntax, delete original data directory, recreate directory, verify db install, re-initialize database (on empty directory) then simply drop the old files onto conquest to import the data and have it saved in the new filenamesyntax.

    I am thinking of holding off re-importing data until I get the linux version sorted out and convert the server over, then put the old data back in the new filenamesytax on an ext3 filesystem.

    Will have to try that on my test box first though. After I get the Linux Conquest working right. :shock::?::twisted::x:(:o:D

    hmm..

    I don't use the IIS but WAMP.

    This is the \cgi-bin\dicom.ini I use:

    # This file contains configuration information for the DICOM server
    # Do not edit unless you know what you are doing

    [sscscp]
    MicroPACS = sscscp

    # database layout (in your dicom server directory)

    kFactorFile = D:\dicomserver1412c\dicom.sql
    TruncateFieldNames = 10

    # IP address and port of DICOM server

    WebServerFor = 127.0.0.1
    TCPPort = 4006

    # further web server config (change ip address and optionally script path)

    WebReadonly = 0

    WebCodeBase = http://127.0.0.1/

    WebScriptAddress = http://127.0.0.1/cgi-bin/dgate.exe

    # this is an optional virtual directory used to http: all images from mag0
    # this entry is experimental and unused except for manual calls to mode=seriesviewer2

    WebMAG0Address = http://127.0.0.1/mag0

    #excerpt from D:\wamp\Apache2\conf\httpd.conf required for WebMAG0Address (un-# there)
    Alias /mag0/ "D:\dicomserver1412c\data\"

    <Directory "D:\dicomserver1412c\data">
    Options Indexes MultiViews
    AllowOverride None
    Order allow,deny
    Allow from all
    </Directory>

    # these settings control size of slice and series viewers, max size of transmitted dicom images (0=original),
    # compression for images sent to the activex (may be un,n1..4,j1,j2), and size of the icons in the image list
    # note: all items require at least one space left and right of the '=' !

    [webdefaults]
    size = 560
    dsize = 0
    compress = un
    iconsize = 48

    This is in the directory where the activeX control and the newest dgate also live. So I have a dgate and a dicom.ini in the Apache2\cgi-bin directory with the activeX control and a printer.pl file. Then there is another dgate, dicom.ini and dicom.sql in the server directory which is called by the webserver.

    I don't know enough (anything) about IIS Setup.. Maybe this can give you a point to compare, or someone else has IIS experience?

    If you get black window with study text, simply adjust win/level.

    If you get a white box with a red "X" in the top left hand corner, do this: (with thanks to Patje)

    regsvr32 -u ActiveFormProj1.ocx (to remove)
    regsvr32 [Path of component]\ActiveFormProj1.ocx (to register)

    ie: [Path of Component}= drive:\wamp\cgi-bin\ActiveFormProj1.ocx
