Has anyone else experienced this problem?? It is a major bug since it creates a 'ghost' process every time IQ-View/k-pacs is closed.

Yves,
I am using the same account for install and for running the application. Do you guys not have this problem?

No I do mean the iQ-View.exe process. I am aware that I can stop/start the server using the admin tool provided.

When I close the iQ-VIEW application the iQ-VIEW.exe process does not seem to want to exit - still shows up in the Windows Task Manager process list. K-Pacs does the same thing - at least it does on my XP systems.

iQ-View allows you to manually enter Patient Name in the 'Import' window but does not convert the name to DICOM format. I believe DICOM uses the PN type i.e. lastName^firstName^^^.
