OK, I got it. But the last version of database-entries are still available during regen (I mean new folders are added) or there is a wipe out of entire database at the beginning of the process?
Has the regendir command a generic argument, like 1* or something ?

My dicom images are stores on MAG0 (harddisk on server PC) and MAG1 (NAS) added later
I recently made a MySql database regen: all the patients (folders) on harddisk were entered correctly into database, but only a half or less of studies stored on NAS are linked after regen completed.
    Any ideas?
How can I re-enter folders (based on date or ID) without another MAG1 regeneration (actually takes about a week) ?
    Thanks.
    Janos.

    Thank you, Marcel !
    This helped, indeed.
So, let's conclude (for other NAS users facing same issue):
    1. make read/write rights on NAS GUI setting for user account you login with (in my case: admin)
    2. on windows PC: make new user account - the same you login to NAS GUI ( in my case: admin/mypassword)
    3. stop Conquest server, in services
    4. go to Conquest server properties / log on and change log on mode from Local system account to: This account - the new user you created (admin/mypassword)
    5. restart the service
    6. in dicom.ini set storage to NAS (as described above). save the file
    7. kill and restart conquest dicom server GUI.

Thank's once again for help. Regards.

I'm trying too to make my NAS the default storage, since my harddisk space is getting low.
    My dicom.ini settings are: Magdevices = 2 Magdevice0 = D:\ Magdevice1 = Z:\ (mapped NAS shared folder) ImportConverter0 = storage MAG1
To avoid folder free space check, I use: IgnoreMAGDeviceThreshhold = 1
This works all right on 2 LAN computer configuration, but not at all on my NAS, although file transfer via windows file system from computer to NAS succeeded.
I think there might be a firewall / permission issue, because the message is: ***Error writing file: Z:\12233..."
Help me, please, how to configure my synology NAS permission.
    Thanks.

    Hi there.
I installed the web component of conquest server and it works fine from intranet.
My questions are: 1. how can you access the web server from outside of the network, e.g internet. Maybe using a router which routes port 80 to server? Do you need a real static IP ?
    2. Can you query through internet the conquest dicom server installed on a network PC if you correctly configure IPs and ports ?

    Thank you.

    Hi there!
I would like to get some advices related to dicom server crash occured frequently last week at our site.
We are using conquest dicom server to receive x-ray angiography and digital radiography images from 3 different stations. Everything worked fine until now, but last week we've had serious server crashes almost each day.
The crashes occured in the middle of c-store and were related to a specific station, which sends to our PACS secondary captured angiography series. Crashes produced closure of dgate.exe as well as freezing of conquest GUI. Keep alive function was not able to restart the server, so I installed an application monitor software which could restart dgate.exe immediately in order to mantain PACS alive, but images was lost.
It could be related to upgrading to v. 1.4.16 ? That was the only change I made.

    The serverstatus error is:

Is there any script (command, etc) that indicates the number of characters within a certain tag ?
In fact, I'm asking for some ImportConverter that eliminates last 3 characters from Patient Name, wich are "^^^"

    e.g. something like
    ImportConverter0 = ifequal "%V0010,0010[,3]" , "^^^" ; set 0010,0010 to ............

    Thanks.
