    Hello,
I am a bit puzzles as to when I look at the log details while I am sending the images from KPACS to CC PACS server. It is able the open the port 1112 but then it closes the connection without sending any of the images of the study.

Basically it open the connection to send the images and then closes the connection without sending the images. I am very puzzles as to why this is happening. I have addes the AE Title, PORT and ip address in the configuration and also did ECHO to verify and it displayed as "SUCESS".

I even pinged the static ip address where the KPACS workstation is runing. That works fine too. I just dont understand why the images are not being transferred even though everything looks fine.

IS there something I am doing completely wrong? The KPACS is running on MS XP Pro. The MS firewall is diabled and I am not sure what else I need to look into?

    Please advise..

    Thanks
    Tim

    Hello Rafael,
Thanks for your help. I downloaded the K-PACS 1.5 version to be able to review and save the log files. I am still having errors when sending the images remotely to an e-film workstation. There are some \par [DICOM SCU] >> : (140D,1000), 16,\tab UN, "j4\f1\'cd1\'98\'17\'afH\'86\bullet " - *** Unidentified *** lines that appear which causes the connection to error out. I am trying to understand what could cause this but I have no idea. Please need your help.

    Thanks
    Tim

Here is what the log file looks like.

    Hello Everyone,
I have set up Kpacs on my work station and I have been trying to send the studies to a remote site that has Efilm on their workstation.

Unfortunately whenever I send the study to the appropriate destination kpacs gives me "transfer failed" error for some reason. The ip address, AE title and port number are correct. I have been told that they have no issue receiving images at all and that I might have some issues on my side.

    AE Title: jrad
    Port: 55555
    ip: 65.125.107.194

I have no problems pinging the ip addresses which means it is not behind firewall. How can I determine whether or not the problem is on my side or their side? Is there a log file I can look at? Are there any diagnostic tools that I can use that can help me troubleshoot the problem.

I would truly appreciate your help in this matter.

    Best regards
    Tim

    Hello Marcel,
Thank you for your reply. I appreciate your reponse in regards to the issues I am currently having. I guess I will wait for the 1.4.13 version to come out.

I hope to see the new version come out soon.

    Thanks again,

    regards

I'd appreciate your input in this matter. Plus can we not have a simple picture driven installation guide that would guide a NOVICE installer how to install the sever from start to finish.

    Thanks

    Hello Everyone,
I am trying to set up the CONQUEST server for our Urgent Care facility to send plain images to a remote radiologist to read our scans.

I am new to CONQUEST and I have had a lot of difficulty installing the MYSQL database.

Is there anyone who can help me to properly setup and install the system. I would truly appreciate it. We are currently running the system on MS XP Pro SV2.

Please do kindly let me know if there is anyone who can help me to install the system properly. I would really and truly appreciate it.

    Thanks
    Tim

    Hello Every,
I am fairly new to DICOM and K-PACS.

First of all congratulations on providing such a great software. We are a small medical imaging facility and thinking of using CONQUEST and K-PACS for our facility.

Here is our current situations and I hope you can guide us the right path. We have modalities such as Ultrasound and DEXA machines that are located in our facility. The referral physicians send us the patients who we scan. Once the patient is scanned we then have to push the images from the US unit via our separate work station to the Radiology Clinic. The radiologist facility who are located off site for FINAL READS.
Here are my followings questions and c

    1) What configuration would be the best where we can use both CONQUEST and K-PACS?

    2) what way should the radiologist send us the FINAL READS to our site?

    3) Is it possible our referral Physicians can view the images and read the final reads via the WEB or VPN?

    4) Is it possible or do you think in future K-PACS will integrate Patient Scheduling, Billing, RIS etc. I can surley see a lot of potential in it.

Our objective is to make the process streamless as possible. Where the physician is able to view the images and final read in no time and can look at his/patients images and information remotely witout needing to come to the office.

I'd appreciate your advice, guidance and suggestions in this matter.

    Thank you very much,

    Best regards
